Upcoming Events

Puthari Vellattam (New Harvest Ritual)

The Puthari Vellattam is a traditional ritual conducted at the temple to mark the beginning of the new harvest season.
This ceremony symbolizes gratitude for the year’s produce and seeks the blessings of Bhavoor Karinkali Devi for prosperity, protection, and wellbeing.

The ritual is performed in the early morning following long-established customs passed down through generations.
Devotees are invited to participate and receive the blessings of the Goddess.

Naga Puja (Serpent Worship Ritual)

Naga Puja is a sacred ceremony dedicated to the serpent deities who are believed to protect family lineage, fertility, health, and harmony.
The ritual is conducted with great reverence and is an important part of the temple’s traditional worship practices.

Devotees who wish to take part in the Naga Puja may register in advance.
All offerings related to the ceremony will be accepted at the temple.

These offerings may be performed as part of the Puthari Vellattom and Naga Puja ceremonies, and devotees are welcome to participate according to their devotion.

General Note

Both Puthari Vellattom and Naga Puja are conducted strictly according to the Malayalam calendar each year.
The exact dates will be announced by the temple committee in advance.
Devotees are requested to follow the updates and participate with devotion.

The Puthari Vellattom ritual will be conducted at the temple as part of the annual new-harvest traditions.
In connection with this ceremony, the Chamundi Vellattom will also be performed according to temple custom.

Devotees who wish to sponsor (നേർച്ച വെള്ളാട്ടം) the Gulikan Vellattom may do so.
The offering amount for Gulikan Vellattom is ₹10,001.00

All devotees and well-wishers are requested to participate and receive the blessings of the Goddess.
